About

Making complex work easier to understand

SagerCore builds AI tools for people responsible for delivering outcomes in complex environments.

Projects, programs and teams generate a constant stream of conversations, decisions, actions, risks, commitments, documents and changing priorities. The challenge is rarely a lack of information.

The challenge is making sense of it all.

We believe AI can help — not by replacing the judgement of experienced people, but by helping them maintain context, recognise what matters, remember what has happened, and see where attention is needed next.

That is the idea behind SagerCore.

The Problem

From information to operational understanding

Most work systems are good at storing things.

Tasks go into one system. Risks into another. Decisions appear in meeting notes. Important context sits in email or chat. Commitments live in people's heads. Problems develop gradually across conversations that may be separated by days or weeks.

The individual responsible for delivery is left to connect it all.

SagerCore is exploring a different model.

We want AI to develop a continuing understanding of the operational environment around you — the projects, people, issues, decisions, commitments and relationships that make up your work.

You should be able to capture something naturally, in the moment, and trust the system to help connect it with what it already knows.

You should be able to ask:

What am I missing?

What needs my attention today?

Where are we drifting?

What did we decide about this?

What do I need to remember before that meeting?

And get an answer grounded in the context of your work.

The goal is not another system for you to maintain.

The goal is an operational companion that helps you maintain clarity while the world around you keeps changing.

The Origin

Built from the reality of delivery

SagerCore did not begin as an abstract AI idea.

It grew from decades spent delivering technology and business change — projects, programs and products where the formal plan is only a small part of what actually determines whether something succeeds.

Real delivery is messy.

Priorities change. Sponsors drift. Teams disagree. Dependencies emerge. Decisions are revisited. Dates acquire a life of their own. Important issues appear in informal conversations long before they appear in a status report.

And the person responsible for the outcome is expected to somehow keep the whole picture in their head.

That experience led to a simple question:

What if AI could help carry that cognitive load?

Not another dashboard.

Not another repository.

Not another process to administer.

Something that listens, remembers, connects and helps you think.

SagerCore is being built around that question.

Our Products

Two products. One operational intelligence layer.

These products are useful independently, but they also represent parts of a larger idea. Over time, SagerCore is building toward an operational intelligence layer that can remember context, connect information across time, recognise emerging patterns and help people navigate increasingly complex work.

The intelligence should become more useful as it learns the environment in which you operate.

Sager

Sager helps delivery leaders think through difficult situations. It provides a structured thinking partner when a project or program feels stuck, helping identify the underlying pressures, separate symptoms from causes, and find practical ways forward.

Our Philosophy

AI in service of human judgement

We don't believe the future of AI at work is simply about generating more content, automating more tasks or replacing more human activity.

For complex work, some of AI's greatest value may be much simpler:

helping people understand what is happening.

01

Remember the things humans inevitably forget.

02

Connect things that appear unrelated.

03

Notice changes over time.

04

Surface commitments before they are missed.

05

Recognise patterns before they become crises.

06

Reduce the cognitive effort required simply to keep up.

And leave judgement, accountability and decisions where they belong — with people.

The Founder

Built by someone who has lived the problem

SagerCore was founded by Mark Broadbent, a technology and delivery professional whose career has spanned software development, project and program delivery, product thinking and large-scale organisational change.

The idea grew from a problem he repeatedly encountered throughout that career and was experiencing again firsthand:

How do you maintain clarity when you are responsible for more moving parts than any person can reasonably keep in their head?

Modern AI finally makes it possible to approach that problem differently.

SagerCore is the result.

It is being built from the perspective of the person sitting in the middle of the complexity — trying to understand what matters, make good decisions and keep things moving.

Direction

Where we're heading

Our direction is straightforward:

AI that understands your work, not just your prompts.

An operational companion that develops context over time.

One that remembers.

One that connects.

One that helps you recognise what matters.

One that can help you resume the thread of your work after a meeting, a weekend or months away.

Technology should reduce the effort required to understand complex work — not create another layer of work to manage.

That's what we're building at SagerCore.
